Charlie Turner is a young gentleman from Mocksville, North Carolina, and at age 17 has distinguished himself as a professional sporting clays shooter. In 2004 Charlie won his class in three of the five tournaments he competed in and even won Junior and D-Class in the 2004 Ducks Unlimited State Tournament.
Charlie is an active supporter of hunter safety programs and shot at last year's National Youth Hunter Education Challenge in Mansfield, Pennsylvania.
When asked what tips he has for other shooters, Charlie says, "Don't get mad when you are having a bad day." We think that is wise advice for shooters and life in general as well!
We at TennesseeOutfitters congratulate Charlie's success and look forward to enjoying what is sure to be an outstanding career.
Update:
March 6, 2005 Georgetown, SC Charlie placed first in Junior Class. Way to go, Charlie!
